With the new pack draw system, you have the same experience of participating in a pack drop with more flexibility on when you can join and get packs.
Once you select the number of packs you'd like to reserve, you can choose between using a supported credit/debit card or your Dapper Balance. At the end of the pack draw window, all pack reservations will be randomized and you will be notified how many of yours were successful. For Dapper Balance, a hold will be placed on your funds until the end of the draw and any unsuccessful reservations will be refunded. If you use a credit/debit card to purchase, you will only be charged if you are successful.
How to Join a Pack Draw
Once a pack draw is announced, you will be able to join at any time between the timeframe listed. Any details about the draw including price, eligibility, Moments, and how many packs you can reserve will be provided on the pack page. Once you decide you'd like to join, you can head directly to the pack page and reserve the number of packs that you'd like to get.
Using either your credit/debit card or your preloaded Dapper Balance, you will authorize the purchase of the desired upcoming pack if you are randomly selected to get one. If you use a credit/debit card to reserve, you will not see a hold on your card as you will only be charged if you win the draw.
If you attempt to use Dapper Balance, your funds will remain locked until the winners are selected. You will need to make sure your Dapper Wallet holds the full amount you are looking to reserve otherwise, you will not be able to complete your reservation. Once the timer runs out for the pack draw, instead of joining a Waiting Room and Queue, everyone who committed to buying the pack and authorized their purchase will be randomized in the draw for the drop. For more details on the draw selection, check out our article here.
What payment methods can I use to join the Pack Draw?
In addition to preloaded Dapper Balance, collectors can now use American Express, Visa or Mastercard debit and credit cards to enter the draw for packs.
What fees are associated with using a credit or debit card?
Check out our article here for more details on card fees. Please note that there are no card fees if you are not randomly selected in the draw for any of the packs you requested.
What kind of hold is made when I make a reservation?
If you're using Dapper Balance for your reservation, a hold will be placed on your funds based on the number of packs that you have reserved. You will not be able to use this Dapper Balance in your account as it may be needed to fulfill the entire or partial pack request. For example: If you request 4 packs that are $10 each but are selected to win 2 packs, $20 of your Dapper Balance will be taken for the pack purchase and the remaining balance will be released once the draw is over.

What do I need to know when making a reservation using a credit or debit card?
Collectors using credit or debit cards to reserve their packs will not see a hold on their card and will only be charged if their reservation was successful (either partially or fully) and they received a pack. For example: If you request 4 packs that are $10 each but are selected to win 2 packs, you will be charged $20 plus the applicable card fees for that pack once the draw is over.
We highly recommend reaching out to your bank to confirm that your transaction will not be blocked if you are selected as a winner.
What do I need when making a reservation using Dapper Balance?
Collectors will need to have the full Dapper Balance amount in their account before making their pack request if using Dapper Balance. For example: If you request 3 packs that are $10 each, you will need to make sure you have $30 to fulfill the entire request if you are selected to receive all packs.
